A Brief History of
Lindon Precision
Lindon Precision started in 1975 in Darrell Frampton's garage when he bought a single manual lathe and mill to start machining parts. After early success, he began constructing a permanent shop in 1978, the same building we call home today. Darrell built a rock-solid foundation of customer service and expertly machined parts - a bedrock that has helped Lindon Precision thrive for more than 45 years.
Early Days
Over time, Lindon Precision was passed down to Darrell's three kids, who jointly ran both a plumbing supply company and the machine shop. Darin Frampton eventually took complete control of Lindon Precision, where he helped transition the company into the future. This included purchasing newer automated equipment to keep up with the changing industry and production demands.
Moving Forward
Today, Lindon Precision is owned by Kyler Frampton (grandson of Darrell) and Jess Bullock, who have brought years of machining experience to the company. During their time at Lindon Precision, they have continually expanded and brought automation and the latest CNC, CMM, and machining tech to the company. Beginning with two manual machines, they and the Lindon Precision team have nearly outgrown the current building, which is now home to 14 CNC machines.
Looking forward, we envision adapting and improving with the industry while staying true to what has kept us in business for nearly 50 years—delivering outstanding customer service and expertly machined parts! We have added and will continue introducing top-of-the-line equipment to better serve our customer base while continually looking for ways to improve as a business.
